This week's two quilts for Covered in Love are brought to you by M & M. Michele sent in the tops and Meloney quilted them with her longarm.
First was this large Scrappy Mountain Majesties, quilted with wandering leaves.
Next, this quilt is a HUGE variation on a dresden plate in bright scrappy colors. Meloney said this one was a challenge, but she knocked it out of the park.
Meloney custom quilted lots of swirls and curlicues to make this beautiful, happy quilt so special. Thank you ladies for all your help in supporting Covered in Love!
My sleepy, spoiled babies love to "nurse" this minky blanket and make muffins on it.
Covered in Love is a 501(c)(3) charity that donates quilts to patients dying in the hospital, over 400 so far! The Jan/Feb drive is going on now. Check out the main post HERE if you want to get involved.

Those are both real beauties to add to the quilts for CiL. Special thanks to Michele & Meloney for all their help to CiL & to you. Your babies look so content & happy. A cat I once had liked to "nurse" her tail & it was ALWAYS wet! :)
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful quilts! Thank you to both of the M ladies!
ReplyDeleteFantastic quilts! And no doubt a comfort to the recipients and their families.
ReplyDeleteSo different, but SEW wonderful!!!
ReplyDeleteNice quilts. Funny kitties! We had a cat who would nurse on a huge minky teddy that our daughter had. It was hilarious.
ReplyDeleteMichelle created two lovely quilt tops. Although I love traditional quilts like the Buzz Saw, the Dresden variation is stunning. I'm glad you included closeups of the quilting. Meloney did a fabulous job.
