More of Christy's Shirtings

Happy Friday, Quilters! Sorry I skipped last Friday's post, I was sick with a cold for a while. I'm still hacking up a lung, but otherwise doing better.

I've got some more of Christy's shirtings quilts to show this week. We'll have to be careful who this one gets given to. Texas Tech is heresy in some families!

All of these were quilted by me with a stipple. I like the brighter colors and the patterns in these first two.

This is a really simple and effective pattern, reminds me of a good block drive design...

Lastly, a string quilt in a more coordinated color scheme. I like the plaids around the border, too.

Thanks Christy! Everyone cuddle up with your cats and quilts and stay warm this week!

  1. Christy does such a great job with all the quilts she makes. Thanks so much for the contributions to CiL. I appreciate all the quilts she makes & sends.
Runway models can't hold a candle to Sundae. He has all the moves & positions down pat like he's saying "look at me...look at me". He's so photogenic!!!

  2. Those shirting quilts look so cozy. Who wouldn't love snuggling into one?!

  3. I love the first quilt, were the fabrics & seams don't have to match. Also the randomness of the 2nd quilt. Good finishes on all 3 quilts.

  4. I really like the design of the 2nd quilt. Simple blocks but a very lively quilt.
