(More) Team Finishes
Happy weekend quilters! I have more quilts from the "Other people's UFOs" category finished this week for Covered in Love. The first two tops were sent in by Michele and finished by me. Backings were some of the ones donated by Gail H.
This pretty, and large, sampler got an all-over stipple. I wish I had the skill and time to do some custom quilting in the open squares, but it's just beyond me. The hourglass quilt below got a looser stipple. I love the color scheme on this one especially.
This vintage-looking top is another one from the talented Priscilla, who has blessed CiL with so many great tops.
Mel is still donating her long-arm skills to CiL and did a great job finishing this one. As you can tell from the photo, it's a lovely and very large quilt that would have been difficult for me to finish. Thanks to all the ladies!
This is how Fudge feels about going to the vet: hiding inside my hoodie the entire time! He had a bad bout of gastro enteritis but he's doing much better.
Covered in Love is a 501(c)(3) charity that donates quilts to patients dying in the hospital, over 400 so far! The Jan/Feb drive is going on now. Check out the main post HERE if you want to get involved.

They're all wonderful (and big!). I especially like Priscilla's. :-)

ReplyDeleteGo, Team!!! Another great batch of quilts ready for the hospital.
ReplyDeleteWhat beauties have been donated to CiL! I love seeing donated quilt tops that are going out to the families. I sent my Jan/Feb blocks today & you should get them Monday. Oh, poor Fudge...a trip to the vet is never fun. Glad to hear that he is doing better.
ReplyDeleteOh, that scrappy Lady of the Lake makes me want to crawl inside and snuggle just like Fudge :) Many thanks to everybody who donated their time and talents to make these quilts!
