Rainbow Stars and Dinosaurs
Happy Friday! Boy am I glad to get to the weekend; I don't know how anyone gets anything done while working a full time job!
I've got some bright and happy quilts to show. This rainbow stars quilt came from the Nurture circle of do. Good Stitches. Jenny assembled it and did the beautiful free motion quilting.
Next, Connie sent in this cool dinosaur top that I quilted.
I really like the bright dinosaur fabrics and I decided to quilt it with square spirals. Thankfully CiL doesn't have much need for quilt suitable for children, but unfortunately children do sometimes lost their parents and need a quilt for comfort.
Or maybe it will go to a dino loving adult? I'm sure the perfect person will get it at the right time.
And finally, here's a really unflattering picture of me early in the morning with my Expensive Fur Blankets keeping me warm ;)
Covered in Love is a 501(c)(3) charity that donates quilts to patients dying in the hospital, over 400 so far! The Jan/Feb drive is going on now. Check out the main post HERE if you want to get involved.

Love, love, LOVE that Rainbow Star quilt (and your expensive fur blanket, too!!)
ReplyDeleteThat rainbow star quilt is really unique! And so are your expensive fur blankets! Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI really like that square spiral quilting! Gonna have to try that one :)
ReplyDeleteThe rainbow stars quilt is beautiful. I love how one color flows to the other. I'm sure the dino quilt will find a good home as do all your quilts. Looks like Fudge is wondering if it's really time to get up. Fur blankets are the best!
ReplyDeleteTwo wonderful quilts which will cover two people who need love. Love the picture of you. That orange cat looks like an attention hog and ham. LOL We have one of those, too.
ReplyDeleteThe Rainbow Stars quilt is amazing. I love the way the colors change as they sweep across the top. Great dinosaur quilt. The quilting motif is a perfect match.
