Big Hugs from Lori

Happy Friday, quilters! I have more quilts by Lori to show this week. These were very generously sent in by Lori all finished and just needing a label.

I got to go swimming last weekend, so it feels like summer has officially started now! We are still having frequent thunder showers, but in between it's humid and hot.

The kitties have access to the porch every day, but they mostly go out in the early morning hours. (Fudge wakes me up around 3am to open the door.) Sundae says it's too hot out there for a fat girl in a fur coat.

This spinning stars pattern (below) might make a good block drive quilt sometime soon. I've been trying to get my quilty groove back and catch up on some of the previous block drives before I start a new one.

The heat is a good excuse to stay inside in the AC and sew.

You can see more of Lori's pretty quilts in a post from a few weeks ago. This rail fence is a simple pattern with a really striking look.

And really cute backing fabric. Thank you, Lori!

Fudge has been dedicated to catching lizards on the porch and bringing them into my house...

Covered in Love is a 501(c)(3) charity that donates quilts to patients dying in the hospital, over 1600 so far! The Jan-March block drive is live now.  Check out the main post HERE if you want to get involved.
