Today is a good day. I'm off work and it's finally turned cold and damp outside. Feels like summer is finally over. So it's the perfect day to stay inside and sew-- these string blocks are calling my name. I hope to get this one done today.
Wilson demonstrates the proper rainy-day technique.

I love scrappy string blocks; they are some of my favorites.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun log cabin! Congratulations!
ReplyDeleteLove your progress, I really need to make a scrappy one of these!
ReplyDeleteThose string blocks are wonderful - they caught my eye at the Freshly Pieced linky party. Lovely work! (And lovely cat, too!)
ReplyDeleteLove all your bright happy colors. Hope to someday make one of these log cabins for myself.
ReplyDeleteHellloooo Wilson! I have a basset hound named Fred who thinks he is a cat and has perfected the rainy day pose also! too funny. I just love the fun style of your quilt. I really enjoy looking at how people play then how people follow a pattern. THANK YOU!
