Oh my stars! {July-August Block Drive}

Welcome to July! We made it, and it is time for the annual Covered in Love red white and blue stars block drive. This is year 5!

Please check out last year's post here for all the details about the blocks for this fun drive.

My work week felt very long, and so this post is short and to the point. The heat here is incredible. I hope you all have a happy, safe, and cool July 4th weekend :)

  1. This is always such a fun block drive because of the fabulous variety of stars you receive! I pulled out all the red, white and blue orphan blocks this week, too. Seems like just the right time to work on them :)

  2. I've done my homework early on the months you've taken a break. I have many for you already, but of course I'm making more as well! Hot and tired is how summer usually goes. However, we can all agree that this is a more intense summer than most others!

  3. Not sure where everyone finds such great star block patterns but I'm starting to look for some that aren't the same that I make each time. Kat, with all you do pertaining to CiL and your stressful job on top of that, it's time for a break from things that don't HAVE to be done. Hope you can enjoy the July 4th week-end without too much stress. Hugs!

    1. Nicki, do you do paper piecing? IF so, check out wombatquilts.com. I just wrote a blog post about her site for some cool PP block patterns.
