Pretty in Pink

Pieced by Paula, finished by me
Pink's not my color, I'll be the first to admit that, but sometimes it is so lovely on other people's quilts. Especially for Covered in Love.

Backing from Sandra

These two beauties were pieced by Paula, backing from Sandra, and quilted by me.  Aren't they great?

The first one with the layer cake blocks is my favorite, I love the soft colors and the mix of pink, blue, and green.

This batik disappearing nine patch was made by Sandy and quilted by me.

Again, I had a perfect backing from Sandra. Pretty soft purple wisteria blooms.

Last up, another disappearing nine patch style quilt top from Janet quilted by me, this time in zebra print and bright pink. The soft pretty quilts are all well and good, but sometimes you just need something a little bit wild!

Covered in Love donates quilts to patients dying in the hospital, over 300 so far! Our block drives are back on track and July/August is the annual "Oh My Stars!" drive.  Check out the main post HERE if you want to get involved.

  1. All absolutely fabulous! You’re machine has bee smokin'!

  2. What a fabulous batch of quilts! Many thanks to Janet, Sandy and Paula! And to Sandra, for donating so many great backings. That blue bird fabric is my favorite so far :)

  3. What beautiful quilts, so bright and colorful! I really love the backings too. Nice job by everyone.

  4. More beauties for CiL! Paula, Janet, Sandra & Sandy are really keeping you busy these days.

  5. Thanks so much to you and Sandra for the perfect backing fabric and Quilting of my tops. You both are such a blessing to so many grieving families. I love being a part of this ministry.

  6. What fun! Favorites are a funny thing. I liked the second one better than the first, but that green D9P was my really favorite! You are making such a difference for so many people.

  7. I love seeing all the quilts you finish, but it really made me happy to see my Disappearing Nine-Patch top finished. Thanks for sharing a photo!
