Pretty in Pink

Pieced by Paula, finished by me
Pink's not my color, I'll be the first to admit that, but sometimes it is so lovely on other people's quilts. Especially for Covered in Love.

Backing from Sandra

These two beauties were pieced by Paula, backing from Sandra, and quilted by me.  Aren't they great?

The first one with the layer cake blocks is my favorite, I love the soft colors and the mix of pink, blue, and green.

This batik disappearing nine patch was made by Sandy and quilted by me.

Again, I had a perfect backing from Sandra. Pretty soft purple wisteria blooms.

Last up, another disappearing nine patch style quilt top from Janet quilted by me, this time in zebra print and bright pink. The soft pretty quilts are all well and good, but sometimes you just need something a little bit wild!

Covered in Love donates quilts to patients dying in the hospital, over 300 so far! Our block drives are back on track and July/August is the annual "Oh My Stars!" drive.  Check out the main post HERE if you want to get involved.

  6. What fun! Favorites are a funny thing. I liked the second one better than the first, but that green D9P was my really favorite! You are making such a difference for so many people.
