More UFOs Finished for the Cause

Happy weekend! Once again I've got a few tops sent in by others to be finished for Covered in Love.  Debbie S. sent in this Granny Square top and backing, didn't it make a pretty quilt?

The binding on this one and the one below came from Holly M. thanks!

These next 2 tops came from Marianne, along with several others so I'll have more of her work to show in a few weeks.

The colors just scream Fall (which I'm assured will eventually get here this year... one day).

This coin stack quilt with the vintage fabrics is so cool.  I found several yellow fabrics from Sandra for backing.  Binding on this one from Nicki.  Thanks everybody! CiL is approaching 400 quilts soon and it's all thanks to you!

Covered in Love is a 501(c)(3) charity that donates quilts to patients dying in the hospital, over 300 so far! The Sept/Oct drive is a repeat of one of my old favorites, the grown-up eye-spy quilt.  Check out the main post HERE if you want to get involved.

  1. They all look so soft, cuddly and inviting! The fall colors squares is my favorite of this group. Many thanks to the many hands who worked on these :)

  2. What wonderful quilts those are, and sure to be a comfort wrapped around the person, and later, family members.

  3. This is great batch of quilts. I really like the album quilt with the extra blocks on the back. I always enjoy reading about how you use the bindings and backings donated by quilters to finish up tops donated by other quilters. It's a wonderful group effort.

  4. Beautiful new quilts for CiL! It's so exciting to see CiL growing each week with quilts for the hurting families. Kat, I'm so glad you started this charity in 2015. It has helped so many families. Thanks to each & every person who has helped along the way.
