My teal and grey string have come together into this top, which I'm calling Sidewalk Puddles :) Tutorial for this coming later this week.
I also had time this weekend to get my March do. Good Stitches blocks done. Carla asked for paperpieced economy-style blocks with fussy cut centers.
It was really fun to pick the centers and develop a theme within each mini block.
And that's all for now! Linking up to Judy at Patchwork Times.
There is so much motion in that string quilt! I LOVE it! How did you conquer those curved seams????
ReplyDeleteI would like to know, too! This is a GREAT quilt!!!
DeleteYour string quilt is gorgeous! The strings themselves add interest and the curves add more. Isn't it amazing how a little curve lifts an alternating block quilt out of the ordinary? The high contrast between the plain and string blocks helps, as does the mostly medium for strings (with a little darker and lighter for accent). Another Wow before I hit 'publish'. :-)
